hi! i'm megan + i am the owner/maker behind homebody hub!

i am based in the beautiful gettysburg, pa + make alllll of my products single-handedly in my kitchen (aka my "studio").

(+ i can't forget to mention the sweetest "quality control agent," aka my business partner AKA my 12-year-old black lab, dylan!)

i started homebody hub back in 2022 when i was just 20 years old + what started as a hobby has quickly evolved into a passion for eco-friendly home fragrance!

all of our products here at homebody hub are crafted with non-toxic formulas, eco-conscious packaging, + a handmade approach so that you can fragrance your home worry-free and make a difference.

i have all of my marketing materials (care cards, thank you cards, etc.) printed on rack cards through my saving grace @avery + then i cut them in HALF! 😎

that and they're just the PERFECT size when they've been cut down! 😌

it may take a little extra time, but it's sooooo worth it!

+ yet somehow gilmore girls makes it all better 😌🍂

trimming our wax melt snap bars is sooooo taxing but sooooo crucial for getting those crisp edges (considering i'm *awful* at pouring 🫣)

buuuuuut it takes FOREVER (this particular session took me an hour from start to finish to trim the edges on 32 snap bars.....yeah 🥹)

so it helps when i've got something to help the time go by 😌 + considering it's cozy season (or just about!), it wouldn't be right to not watch my favorite cozy show! 🍁🍂

my "studio" setup quite literally hasn't changed in the two (coming up on THREE!!! 🤯) years that i've been in business 👀

a sheet of plastic over the countertop (fashioned out of an old wax bag 💁🏼‍♀️ thrifty), the same towels i've used since day 1 (that have seen better days from all of the dyes and wax drops on them 🫣), + measuring cups that were literally stolen from our kitchen drawer 🤭 oops

BUT it works and it's my happy place and every time i'm working in it, i just feel ✨ at home ✨ (probably because it's just my kitchen 😂)

i would eventually like to invest in a proper wax melter, but until that day comes, my trusty double boiler method works just fine 😌
